How do open gyms at gymnastics work?

I'm curious because I've never gone to one before, but am thinking about it because I want to move up fast because of my age. Are all levels there? Cause I don't want to look like an idiot when there are people my age there in like level 6 when im in level 2 and they know what they're doing and I don't :/
Also, is $12 a good price to pay to go to an open gym? Because that's how much this one is... but I've seen cheaper.
And I know this is kind of random, but do dance stores usualy sell gymastics leotards? Because I need one and idt there is time to order one online before my next class (next wednesday)

$12 is pretty expensive, my open gym is only $5! Not all levels might be there, some people just go to open gym to just play around and jump on the tramps ect. some don't even do gymnastics. But even if some higher levels are there they wont be looking at what you can and cant do they'll just be minding their own business. So just go and have fun, maybe even try some new skills or whatever, but don't feel like an idiot. And yes dance stores do usually sell gym leos, they might not have like all the designs and ect. but yes they do have some leos. You can also buy leos from target, Kohl's, and possibly Meier, not for sure. It might take about 3-4 days if you buy it online, so idk, but they also sell them at GK gymnastics, i think they have the best ones, so i would recommend buying one from GK cause they are really comfortable.
